The Directorate of Academic Assessment and Itqan (DAAI) at Moyo Islamic Academy (MIA) has successfully concluded the practical presentation phase for course SIS023: Workshop on Sermon Delivery.

The assessments, finalized today, required students from the khatibu program to research, draft, and deliver a compelling Friday Khutbah or standard Islamic sermon. Students demonstrated strong oratorical skills across various language formats, including Swahili-Arabic, Swahili-English, and English-English, following strict topic vetting by DAAI to ensure deep research and thematic relevance.

The evaluation panel commended the prospective Khatibs for their eloquent delivery and adherence to Itqan (excellence), marking a milestone in training the next generation of religious leaders to guide the Ummah.
