PRESS RELEASE<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Saturday, 23 May 2026<\/p>\n

Moyo Islamic Academy (MIA) successfully conducted its 11th Regular Students\u2019 Meeting on Saturday, 23 May 2026<\/strong>, via the Google Meet online platform.<\/p>\n

The event gathered students from MIA and the International Open University (IOU) – Tanzania, along with alumni and staff members, to address issues related to student well-being and the growth of the institution.<\/p>\n

The meeting began at 10:15 AM<\/strong> as a regular students\u2019 gathering designed to enhance collaboration, communication, and academic advancement among members of the MIA\/IOU Tanzania community.<\/p>\n

The following Agendas were discussed during the meeting:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A review of the minutes and progress made on the implementation of Meeting No. 10.<\/li>\n
  2. A discussion regarding the suspension of student services.<\/li>\n
  3. The process for applying for sponsorship opportunities under the \u201c100 Scholarship Initiative.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Participation in the 7th Higher Education Exhibition.<\/li>\n
  5. Other issues affecting students and the development of the MIA\/IOU Tanzania community.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Participants offered meaningful input and renewed their dedication to unity, academic achievement, and the support of the missions and visions of both MIA and IOU communities.<\/p>\n

    MIA sincerely thanks all students, alumni, and staff for their involvement and ongoing support in making the meeting a success.<\/p>\n
